On May 30, 2024, God called his beloved daughter, Minerva S. Corona to her eternal reward in heaven. She was faithfully surrounded by her loving family by her side. Minerva was a life long resident of the Gateway City of Laredo and proudly retired from serving her beloved City of Laredo in the Risk Management Department for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Francisco and Olivia Sanchez
Left behind to cherish her memory are her spouse: Ernesto Corona; daughters: Olivia Tolson (Taylor), and Ashley Corona (Brent Hametner); grandchildren: Camila Hametner, and soon to be welcomed to this earth, Charlotte Tolson; sisters: Cindy Jalomo, Lucy (Jose Luis) Murillo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremations, where a Rosary will be offered for the eternal repose of her soul at 7 pm.
A funeral procession will depart at 8:30 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 am.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
