Raquel Castillo, 76, entered into the Lord's house on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Laredo, Texas, having been surrounded by her family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1948 in Minnesota, the daughter of Celestino and Amelia Castillo.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings and spouse's: Esther (Pedro) Garcia, Elizabeth (Gilberto) Brown, Eliseo Castillo, Ismael Castillo, Celestino Castillo Jr., Joel Castillo, and Alberto Castillo.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her siblings: Lydia (Javier) Sandoval, Sara (Jose Guadalupe) Ortiz, Rosa (Rogelio +) Sandoval, Jose (Leticia) Castillo, Sylvia (Ricardo) Pompa. She is further survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather to Celebrate Her Life on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a funeral service will commence at 12 noon.

A cremation will be held at a later date.
