Raul Herrera

Raul Herrera, 67, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Herrera is preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo & Maria Herrera; brother, Jose Rolando Herrera.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Raul (Dina Perez) Herrera Jr., Katy (Leonel) De La Cruz, Francisco Herrera; siblings, Ricardo Herrera, Irma (David) Cote, Daniel (Dora) Herrera, Raquel (Juan) Gamez, Ernesto Herrera, Rosalinda (Oscar) Liendo, Ruben (Carmen) Flores; 11 grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Procession will departure at 8:30 a.m. to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow immediately to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery where a graveside service will recite at 10:15 a.m.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Raul Herrera Jr., Francisco Herrera, Ernesto Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Juan Gamez, Dave Cote, Judge Oscar Liendo, Leonel De La Cruz.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
