Ricardo Ramirez Sr.

Ricardo Antonio Ramirez Sr., 59, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Ramirez and Eva Ramirez; siblings, Manuel Ramirez Jr., Evangelina Villarreal, Ernestina Cardenas, Reynaldo Ramirez, Vilma Davila, and Mario R. Ramirez.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Irma Ramirez; children, Jose Alberto (Gabriela) Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez, Jessica (Juan) Ramirez- Carrillo, Irma Laura (Jose) Ramirez, Ricardo Antonio (Jacqueline) Ramirez Jr., Pamela (Jaime Solis) Ramirez, Yvette (Chris) Venegas, Ashley (Chris) Ramirez, Julia T. (Jose) Benavides, Samantha L. Ramirez (Hector Mendoza); siblings, Ana Ramirez and Jose Angel (Josefina) Ramirez. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. from Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Military honors will be provided after mass by the Fort Sam Houston Honor Guard and the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be, Jose A. Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez, Ricardo A. Ramirez Jr., Jose Rangel, Edgar Mitsui Jr., Juan Carrillo, Arturo Teniente Jr., and Jerry Mills III.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Fernando de la Rosa, Alejandro de la Rosa, Jesus de la Rosa, and James Mills.

Cremation will be held at a later date.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
