Rito Santos
February 23, 1951 — February 20, 2016
Rito Santos, 64, was called by the Lord into his heavenly kingdom on February 20, 2016.
A charismatic soul and family man, Mr. Santos touched the lives of all who knew him. He worked hard to provide for his family, and with a big courageous heart full of determination and void of any quit, Mr. Santos moved mountains and never said no to any of his family and friends. In the words of his wife, Mr. Santos was “a very amazing man.” He was a man full of faith and virtue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rito and Martha Santos.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Imelda Santos, children: Edith (David) Villarreal, Cesar Alejandro Santos, Alyssa Santos, Rito Joshua Santos, grandchildren: Abraham & Isaac Villarreal and Alexandra Santos, mother in law Ninfa Benavides, sisters in law; Gloria (Gregorio) Santos, Rosa (Joe) Perez, Cristina (Roy) Velasquez, and brothers in law; Polo (Sori) Benavides, Rafael (Tita) Benavides, and numerous family and friends.
Memorial services will be on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, from 5pm to 9pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Christ the King Catholic Church.
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Arturo Garza Gongora and to Amistad Home Health, Altus Hospice for the very special care given to Mr. Santos while under their care.
