Rolando Fermin Islas

Rolando F. Islas, 45, entered into his eternal rest on February 1, 2025, in Laredo, Texas. 

He is preceded in death by his mother; Zulema Garcia; father and mother  in law: Jacobo and Susana Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory, wife; Martha Leticia Islas, children; Jonathan Contreras (Karina Villarreal), Daniela Gonzalez (Gerardo Melendez Jr.), Karla Islas (Gilbert Jimenez), Mia Islas (Martin Mata), & Ruby Islas (Jose Galvan), sisters; Rebecca (Mark) Sepulveda & Alma (Bernardo) De La Garza, grandchildren; Chanel, Christian, & Charlie Islas, Gael, Kataleya, & Jaziel Melendez, Gilberto Jimenez, & Rolando Galvan Islas; father: Fermin Rolando Islas, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, where a prayer service will be offered at 7 pm.

Visitation will continue on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 7 to 9:30 am at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Procession will depart the chapel at 9:30 am to Casa de Oracion Sanidad y Liberacion for a service at 10:00 am. 

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. 

Pallbearers: Jonathan Contreras, Martin Mata, Gerardo Melendez Jr., Jose Galvan, Gilbert Jimenez, Mia Islas, Juan Carlos Gonzalez, & Jesus Gonzalez.
