Romelia Juarez

Romelia Juarez, 63, was called by the Lord on January 20, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Vidala Juarez; siblings, Antonio Juarez, Sylvia Cruz.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jose Juan (Angela) Carranza, Adrian (Mary Lou) Carranza, Juan Jesus (Elsa) Carranza Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Jose Luis Juarez, Beningno Juarez, Maria Juarez, Viviana Castro, Maria Luisa Reyes, numerous other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Visitations will continue on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Gamez & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services, where a chapel service will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Funeral home doors will open at 7:00 a.m. Procession departs at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
