Romeo Lozano

Romeo Lozano, 76, passed away on December 11, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

He honorably served in the military as a sergeant military police officer. Earning a good conduct medal and was also a sharpshooter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Armando & Francisca Lozano; son, Romeo Lozano Jr., brother, Rene Lozano, sister, Florinda Lozano.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Dolores Lozano; children, Tamara Armandina Esparza (Jose Rodriguez), Romeo (Araceli Elizabeth) Lozano, II, Maria D. Gonzalez, Anabell (Armando) Gomez, and Elizabeth (Jason Eric) Brown; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter; siblings: Irma Navarro, Elva Gamez, Juan Lozano, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020, from the funeral home to San Martin De Porres Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Funeral home doors open at 7:00 a.m. and a procession departs at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity (90 people) at a time. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn. Similar or more stringent guidelines are likely applicable at the church and cemetery.
