San Juana Gutierrez-Ercia

San Juana Gutierrez-Ercia, 69, was called by the Lord on February 13, 2025, in Laredo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan & Margarita Gutierrez, brother, Jorge Gutierrez, & sister, Aurora Gutierrez (Emilio Romero).

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ricardo Ercia, children: Amalia Gutierrez, Perla Ercia, & Ricardo Ercia Jr., grandchildren: Jesus Castañeda, Jaed Gonzalez, & Anadelys Ercia, siblings: Guillermo Gonzalez (Maria Guadalupe), Rafael Gutierrez, Maria del Socorro Gutierrez (Antonio Muñoz), Juan Jose Gutierrez, Jose Angel Gutierrez, Margarita (Manuel Jimenez) Gutierrez, Martha Alicia Gutierrez, Mario Gutierrez, Maria Luisa (Santiago) Torres. Close cousin, Maria V. Valdez, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 5 pm to 9 pm, where a rosary will be recited at 7 pm at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 7 to 8:30 am. Procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 am to Santa Margarita de Escocia Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 am.

A cremation will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Ricardo Ercia, Ricardo Ercia Jr., Jesus Castañeda, Jose Gutierrez, Francisco Cadena, Juan Jose Gutierrez, Jose Angel Gutierrez, Mario Gutierrez, Guillermo Gonzalez Jr., & Santiago Torres.
