Santiago Garcia

Santiago Garcia, 75, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents Arcadio Garcia & Alejandra Corral; siblings, Reynalda Chaires, Aureliano Garcia; grandchild, Santiago Garcia III.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Josefina Garcia; children, Elizabeth (Andres) Munoz, Santiago (Isela) Garcia, Guillermina Garcia, Saul Garcia, Alejandra (Richard Rodriguez Jr.) De La Cruz; sibling, Maria (+Raymundo) Rosales; 18 grandchildren, numerous other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 01, 2020 departing at 9:000 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In accordance with city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited to 50 percent occupancy capacity. Please feel free to wait in your vehicle for a turn if funeral home reaches capacity. All visitors must wear a face mask before entering the building and use hand sanitizer provided upon entry. Visitors must provide their own face covering.  Anyone that is knowingly sick or has upper respiratory illness is asked to stay home and may be denied entry.
